A summer vacation behind the wheels...

I am driving most of the time. Not to exotic places for sightseeing- but to take my son to his summer camp. It is about 20 minutes drive oneway without traffic, but luckly for us, we get to spend more time on road because of the multiple lane closures in I -93 near Boston this summer months. Lots of construction and repair work on the highway. So today it took me two hrs to drop him there and get back to my home. And in few hrs, I have to go again to bring him back. I regularly spend a good amount of time driving him to variuos activities...So am I in the same leauge as Sarah palin, a hocky mom? Achus is enjoying the camp, so it is worth taking this effort. He has some thing interesting to talk about every day and that is a good thing.

When I am not driving, I am watching movies non- stop nowadays.

I started out with – no one killed Jessica, a hindi movie. It was a very nice movie, not the typical bollywood flick. Rani Mukherji and Vidhya Balan have done a good job. And I saw a lot of tamil movies- mostly Vijay's movies. Probably he is not the best actor in Tamil cinema, but there is some thing likable about this guy that would make one watch his movies again and again. Even though some of his recent movies are unbearable, the romantic comedies he has done earlier in his career are a treat to watch. Especially the songs. I have been listening to one of the songs in Vaseegara- perazhagi entrethan pennavale sonnalo....suriyane pirayenthru..solluvathai polakum...”a number of times now. It is such an energizing dance sequence.

I am alos trying to read the book “Inheritance of Loss” for a while now. It has been a slow process so far with a lot of distractions. Need to get back to reading ASAP.
